Conversion of Hawk T Mk 1 to Variable Stability aircraft when flown from the front seat to provide ETPS (Empire Test Pilot School) with a handling qualities assessment trainer and research vehicle.

In this unique aircraft, the front control column is disseminated from the mechanical control run which is operated by a special three axis rotary actuator package. Force Felll Actuators are provided to react the pilots input forces and provide feel appropriate to the handling being simulated by the aircraft.
